What artists say

The master came back sounding wider, punchier, and completely ready for release. Exactly what the record needed,no over-processing, just everything sitting perfectly in place.

Aria Solenne

Electronic / Berlin

Sent over a full 12-track album and had the masters back within the week. The low end translation across speakers was impressive, something I'd struggled to get right on my own.

Marcus Vell

Hip-Hop / Amsterdam

Really appreciated the attention to detail, even flagged a clipping issue in one of my files before starting. The vinyl pre-master translated beautifully to the test press.

Delphine Caro

Indie / Paris

About

About me

Mastering Engineer  ·  DJ  ·  Audiophile

Full Scale Mastering is run by Frank, born in the 80s in a small town near Rotterdam, stung by the techno bug in the 90s, and finalizing audio since the late 2000s. What started as a DJ career quietly evolved into a full-blown obsession with sound. With over 20 years of experience in the music industry, he has developed a precise ear for detail and a solid understanding of everything that has waveforms. That path led him to study Sound Engineering and Music Production, and he never really looked back.

As an audio fanatic, his approach to mastering is anything but neutral. For the genres he specializes in, transparent processing often translates to flat, that something-is-missing feeling that no amount of volume will fix. His philosophy is intentional: more character, more weight, more life. That's also why analog processing is the go-to for 99% of projects. Hardware adds what plugins can only approximate.

As a DJ, Frank has played at numerous events and venues, known for his ability to read a crowd and keep the floor moving all night. Those years behind the decks, and an ever-growing vinyl collection spanning Dub Techno, House, Disco, and beyond, inform every mastering decision he makes. He knows what music should feel like on a system, not just how it should measure.

He monitors on a meticulously calibrated Kii Three system. That same obsession with sonic accuracy and a relentless pursuit of quality carries into every master he delivers.

Beyond the studio, Frank is someone who genuinely loves what he does and the people around it. That energy is hard to miss, whether he's behind the decks, deep in a session, or just talking about music. For him, this has never been about personal accolades. It's about the music, the artists, and the communities built around it. That's what keeps him pushing, learning, and showing up, every time.
